the maiuri family ~ beus pond

It was simply delightful to spend an hour with the Maiuri family.  They are such a warm and loving family, I felt truly fortunate to photograph them.  

We spent our time at Beus Pond in Ogden.  This location is quite ordinary for most of the year, but come fall, it is breathtaking with all of the autumn foliage.  It all added up to a beautiful day with a very beautiful family.

piper & jack ~ botanical gardens

I was able to photograph Piper and Jack recently, which is pretty special since Piper just began kindergarten and Jack just turned one.  

We went to the Botanical Gardens in Ogden, which is quickly becoming one of my favorite backdrops for pictures.  Maybe the best part was the fact that Piper has quite the modeling spirit in her.  I've never seen a girl pose as much as she did, but it sure made my job easy. 

And then there is Jack.  Such a sweet little guy.  It was so easy to get him to laugh and smile for pictures, especially with mom and Piper helping out.
